Just saw & read your article this morning. I broke into tears again as I was sickened yesterday thinking of my daughter who was at the midnight show hundreds of miles away. I was selfishly relieved that she was safe.
Your article was written with honesty and grace. Yes, God did not cause this but man exploited this tragedy.

M, bless you for your courage. I know it is because of our Sovereign God that you have been ‘chosen’ for this small part and influence in the Aurora community and the blog community at large. Take heart and know that there are people, brothers and sisters-in-Christ, whom you do not know, that are praying for you and others in this tragedy. Just a couple of things to remember, as I am sure you have been amply reminded by others; Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Rom 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. SoS 2:16 My beloved is mine, and I am his; all scripture is ESV from e-Sword. Some of this do not visually connect with each other, but there is a heart thread in them. Remember, God is in charge-we are not. His ways are not ours. Also, like Job, we may never know why God allowed this to happen.
Sorry for rambling and sounding disjointed. Somewhere in there is my heart going out to you and your family … and all the others that were involved in this tragedy. Peace to yo my sister-in-Christ. D.T.
